Vintage Carved Wooden Thai Weaving Loom

This is a Vintage Carved Wooden Thai Weaving Loom.
The loom is an estate piece.  The information I received is that it was purchased in Thailand, circa 1970s.
I was not able to get any specific information about the use of the loom nor if any other parts are needed to use it.  It is being offered primarily for decorative purposes, or for actual use by anyone knowledgeable about using it.
The loom is 23 1/2" long x 7 3/4" high (exclusive of the cord added for wall hanging) x 1/2".  The loom is beautifully made and finished, with mortise and tenon construction as seen.  The loom appears to be made from an indigenous Thai wood that I cannot specifically identify.  The top is decorated with beautiful floral designs in high relief that appear to be hand carved.  The  central panel slides left and right.
Condition
The loom is in excellent condition.
